Update the WiFi Settings for Your Fire TV Recast with the Fire TV app
Your Fire TV sticks and Fire TV Recast must be on the same network and logged into the same Amazon account to function together. If you are having trouble connecting to your recast after rebooting, or you have updated your WiFi network and after changing networks on your Fire TV you cannot access your DVR items, you will need to update the network that you Fire TV Recast is connected to.
First you will need the Fire TV app on your phone or tablet. Open the Fire TV app to modify the Internet connection for Fire TV Recast. If you cant find it or dont have it you can download the Fire TV app from the Google Play or the Apple App Store
Follow the these steps to get your Antenna Channels (Fire TV Recast Box) hooked back up
- Log into the Fire TV App on your phone or tablet - be sure to use the same Amazon login info as you have on your Fire TV Stick.
- Go "More" Settings in the bottom right.
- Select Fire TV Recast (it should show as Paired, if not you will need to Repair it).
- Select Network.
- If on WiFi select Connect to a Different Network.
- Fire TV Recast LED blinks white when it searches for available Internet signals. If it doesn't blink white, turn on your other Fire TV devices, and then press the Fire TV Recast Connect button for eight seconds.
- Select the same network your other Fire TV devices are connected to.
- You can also go back a screen and select "Channels" and then "Rescan" at the bottom of the next page to Rescan for free Antenna channels.
