Reboot Fire TV Recast Antenna DVR
The Amazon Recast is a Free DVR Integration box that can be found connected to the main Coax Cable from the antenna (usually by the main TV or main coax distribution). There are several ways to reboot, NOT reset, the Fire TV Recast:
- The preferred restart method is to unplug from power (either at the wall outlet or at the Recast box) and plug back in - see picture in bottom right.
- Restart Fire TV Recast using Fire TV remote by going to - Settings > Live TV > Sync Sources > Fire TV Recast > Restart > Restart > OK
- Restart it under the Fire TV App on your smartphone by opening the app and going to - More > Fire TV Recast > Your Recast Name > Restart > Yes
