Getting consistent Free TV signals isnt as easy as Cable or Satellite, because its difficult to control all of the factors that can cause Antenna reception issues. We do not cut corners and we are not Electricians or AV guys that just Install antennas part time. We utilize a proven method of signal testing onsite with our $2,000 signal meter to find the best location to install the antenna and we have over 15 years experience. We use the best antennas in the world, which are manufactured by Televes, with built in pre-amp & 5G filters. Yes they cost a little more, but they are built to last and also get the best reception, so the results are worth it!
For the last 5 years we have been installing Televes antennas and have been impressed with the results. Here is a summary of the antennas we use, sometimes challenging locations with more interference require a bigger more powerful TV Antenna. We don't mark stuff up, all we sell is at retail cost. Bigger antennas will need extra mounting hardware (j mount, braces, tripod, pole, etc) which is included in the cost.

- 9% of installs require the new Ellipse TV Antenna, since it is medium sized ~ 2'x3', more directional & more powerful. +$100
- 1% of installs require the new DAT BOSS LR TV Antenna. It is big and very powerful, so the only option for the toughest reception locations, since it is the best Antenna in the world! +$200
We do have several tools and a process we follow on the initial phone consultation to estimate what antenna may be required at your location. However, its impossible to know for sure until we are onsite at your specific location, to test signal strength and interference with our $2000 signal meter, which tells us signal and interference readings by channel. Remember with Antenna reception, yes we give you your best chance for success, but its all based on where your home is compared to the towers and what is in the way.
Ultimately, if your home is in a tough spot for antenna reception, the reality is you will likely need a bigger and more powerful antenna to get all the major networks. Also be aware that we can only guarantee the major networks that come off of Lookout Mountain. This covers 99% of what people watch, smaller channels have a weaker signal, change content and channels more frequently, and come from Free TV towers in different locations - all of which make it difficult to control. At the end of the day installing a TV antenna is a small 1x investment compared to Cable & Satellite, that will get you 70+ Free TV channels for life!
