If we helped you install YouTube TV, part of that set-up process is to set your service to work in your home area. This is a process that confirms you are watching the programming from your local
media market or designated market area (DMA). Broadcast laws do not allow you to continue to watch TV outside your DMA for an extended period of time. If you move to a new DMA, you may need to update your home area or current playback area. Alternately, if there was a problem with the YouTube TV service and we were not able to set your Home Area when we installed, or there is some kind of error with your YouTube TV service, you may need to correct this.
Please follow the instructions from YouTube TV Help to
Manage your home area or current playback area. The bottom of the article has instructions on how to update this from your TV, computer, phone, or tablet. If you are having trouble, you will need to contact
YouTube TV support for help as we are not the service provider and do not have access to your account.
