TV Shows "No Signal" or "No Input"

TV Shows "No Signal" or "No Input"

If your TV shows a "No Signal" or "No Input" message, it's likely you have your TV on the wrong TV Input or Source. You can have many devices, like Streaming Media Players, DVD/Blu Ray Players, and more connected to your television. Changing the "Source" or "Input" on your TV lets you choose what device to display/watch.

To change the input on your TV, use the original remote that came with your TV and look for a Source or Input button (sometimes will be a square with an arrow pointing into it) and cycle through the inputs until you find the one that has the Fire TV Stick connected to it (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3). As a standard practice, StreamWise Solutions installs the Fire TV Stick into the HDMI 1 Input, but not always. If your original TV remote is lost or doesn't have batteries some TVs have a source or TV input button on the side or bottom of the TV as well.

If your Fire TV homepage still is not showing up, click the "Home" button on your Fire TV Stick remote to wake it up, and try cycling through the TV inputs again. You can also cycle through inputs on many TVs with the Fire TV remote by pressing and holding the microphone button and saying "Change Input."

If none of these solve the issue, it's possible the Fire TV Stick is unplugged from the power source. This can happen with the small micro USB plug that goes into the Fire TV Stick itself, or, more commonly, at the USB cable where it plugs into the small black power block.

If you have an Antenna plugged directly into your TV, then you need to make sure your TV is on the Input or Source of "TV". This video shows you how.
