Reprogram Fire TV Remote for new TV, Soundbar or AVR
If you get a new TV, and you connect your Fire TV Stick to the new TV, you may need to reprogram your Fire TV remote to work with the new TV so you can turn on TV and control TV volume. It's easy to do this from the Fire TV interface.
- From the Fire TV Home Screen, go to: Settings > Equipment Control > Manage Equipment > TV > Change TV > Change TV (or Change Soundbar/AVR)
- Go through the Guided Setup to pair remote with TV, Soundbar or Audio Receiver
