Perform a Speed Test from the Fire TV

Performing a speed test from the Fire TV can be an indicator of the performance of your WiFi network for the exact location of the TV.  Note that a speed test does not necessarily reveal what your internet speed is. If you have a WiFi system installed by StreamWise Solutions you can check your internet speed in the Deco App, otherwise, you will need to contact your ISP to find out what speed you are getting to your Modem.  Generally, if you are getting at least 15 Mbps download speeds, it's plenty for streaming video.

To check the internet speed from the Fire TV:

Using the Fire TV remote, press and hold the microphone button and say "Speed Test" and release the button.
The first app that loads should be "analiti Speed Test WiFi Analyzer".
Download the app, give it permission to run, then run it and see what it says.

It will show your download and upload speeds, and if these speeds can support various qualities of video as well.
