As of 10/16/2020, Hulu and
Nexstar (operator of Denver's KDVR: FOX31, AntennaTV, TBD and KWGN: Channel 2/CW, CourtTV, Comet, Charge) are in a
contract dispute, and as a result, local Nexstar ABC affiliates in some markets will be lost until the dispute is resolved. Historically, these disputes generally do get resolved, but there's no way of knowing how long that will take, and if it will impact the monthly price of the Hulu + Live TV subscription.
The good news for Denver area StreamWise Solutions customers is this does not impact you right now, as ABC in Denver is not operated by Nexstar.
As a
StreamWise Solutions customer, you have the freedom to choose whatever provider you'd like. You are not in a contract with Hulu and can cancel anytime you'd like. As an alternate to Hulu Live, you may choose to go with
YouTube TV, which is similar to Hulu + Live TV (and besides the name and parent company, not related to YouTube, with
cat videos and whatnot). It does have a different channel lineup, so be sure to research what channels are important to you. If you sign-up for our
Priority Support Plan, we'd be happy to offer some guidance in this area. Remember,
StreamWise Solutions doesn't charge monthly fees.
Better yet, if you're in a home,
add an antenna on to your system where you get local stations free forever, with no contract disputes.
Contact us if you'd like to get some pricing for someone to come out and help you transition to a different provider, or if you'd like more info on whether an antenna is a good solution for you.
