Disable Ooma Voicemail

Already have an answering machine you want to use instead of the Ooma voicemail system?  Change the Ooma voicemail pickup timing so your answering machine picks up first.
  1. Log in to https://my.ooma.com/
  2. Hover your mouse over Preferences and select Voicemail
  3. Change the Pickup timeout to 59 seconds
While this doesn't actually disable your voicemail, it effectively accomplishes the same thing as long as your answering machine picks up faster. If you want to turn off voicemail for your service, you need to contact Ooma.
