Cancelling Subscriptions on Amazon Prime

Cancelling Subscriptions on Amazon Prime

Maybe you started a trial subscription and you've decided you don't want that channel. Maybe you've taken advantage of the freedom that comes with cord-cutting: you started a subscription to watch a series, you've finished that series and now you don't need that subscription anymore. Here are the steps you can take to end that subscription.

Go to your computer and login to your Amazon account:
      1. On the top banner, left of the search bar, hover your mouse over Accounts and Lists. That will show a drop-down menu.
      2. In the menu, click on Memberships and Subscriptions
      3. That will take you to a screen for your Membership and Subscriptions. Make sure the "View:" drop-down menu item (below the title of the page) says Active Subscriptions.
      4. Find the subscriptions and click on Manage Subscription. This is will allow you to view details about this subscription.
      5. Under Advanced Controls, click on the link that says, Go to my video settings
      6. That will take you to a screen to Manage Your Prime Video Channels
      7. Go down to Your Channels and click on the link that says, Cancel Channel(s) next to any channel subscriptions you would like to cancel.

That's it! You're now free to try another subscription or just make your monthly bill a little lighter. One of the many freedoms that comes with cutting the cord from satellite and/or cable is watching tv the way YOU want to watch tv and controlling your pocketbook to boot!
